DEATH CARE IS HARD

Funeral directors face many challenges, as they support families.

And families face so many burdens, as they grieve. Burdens related to emotions, finances, logistics, paperwork, and more.

We believe software should reduce directors' and families' burdens.

BUT MOST FUNERAL HOME SOFTWARE
IS OUTDATED AND BURDENSOME

Unfortunately, today's death care software doesn't reduce burdens. Most software is antiquated. And users dislike it.

Better death care software should seamlessly help funeral directors manage work. So much work can follow a first-call: like coordinating removal, meeting for an arrangement, authorizing disposition, entering death records, scheduling events, ordering merchandise, publishing obituaries, booking cash items, planning aftercare, and accounting for invoices.
Of course software must support frequent, simpler tasks - like recording orders of urns or caskets and cemetery plots. And software also must support harder, infrequent tasks, like international shipping.

Put simply, better software should draw no attention - yet it must deliver without fail, from pre-need to aftercare.

SO WE’RE BUILDING GREAT SOFTWARE FOR MODERN DEATH CARE

Funeral directors and families deserve modern technology.

So we’re creating Elegy, with help from industry-expert advisors.

We want to help people focus on what’s important at end-of-life. And we know that great software can reduce burdens for funeral directors and families, making it easier to help honor those who die.
